Archie Fans!
As you all know, I added David Archuleta's song Something 'Bout Love last week at the request of a couple of Archie fans AFTER I've said that they SHOULD get more people to vote.
Here is the result of that whole week of voting:

Just Some RT30 Songs and How They Got In
Hey guys! Just a quick last post...I'm supposed to be resting today because I was rushed to the ER last night due to food poisoning. Anyways! Decided to let you guys in on some of the ways songs get into the chart and the polls :)
Charice feat. Iyaz - Pyramid
This song became really popular because Charice is a filipina and her first international single featured Iyaz. Pinoy Pride got Pyramid more votes than the number one song on the chart even before her song was added to the polls. She then debuted at number 1.
Colbie Caillat - I Never Told You
This song was on the playlist for a while, and once everyone noticed it already, votes started coming in through the phones, the textlines, and the yahoo messenger. Then messages were posted on the Cbox, asking for the song to be added to the polls. RT30 team did a tally and found that the song garnered enough votes through phone, text, and calls to be able to get in the charts.
These next few songs ALL got into the chart WITHOUT being added to the polls first. They got enough votes to get into the chart ON THEIR OWN.

Allison Iraheta - Scars
Mamas Gun - Finger On It
Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are
Rihanna - Rockstar 101
Eminem - Not Afraid
Iyaz - Solo
David Cook - Bar-Ba-Sol
Then they're added to the polls. But since I don't want people unhappy and I want to give everyone a fair chance, I have added David Archuleta's Something About Love to the polls. Since I wanna make sure everyone's clear about it, too, I will post a screencap of exactly how many votes it gets by the end of the week. If it gets enough, you'll hear it next Friday on the countdown, but if it doesn't get in, then you guys will just have to do what I've been telling you to: GET MORE FANS TO VOTE. Simple as that.
Also, David Archuleta fans are more than welcome to visit me at the station, just so you know exactly how many calls I get for the rest of the songs on the chart. :)
Okay gaiz, gotta rest now. My meds are making me sleepy hahaha!

Oh, Cruel People
So, automatically, when the song that you love doesn't get enough requests to get into the polls, I have favoritism and I'm not updated. I love you guys so much ;)

Lemme set things straight..
All the other songs are on the chart because I get votes from the phone, textline, this website, and the yahoo messenger on my shift, and the other jocks get the votes during different times of the day. So it's not that I have favoritism or that I'm not updated, Thea and Joshua. It's that you guys are the only ones actively voting for Archie. I don't care about Linkin Park and Archie fans over facebook. If those thousands of fans aren't voting here, then they aren't getting in. If Archie is on the other countdowns on other stations, then they're obviously voting THERE, but they aren't voting HERE. If you want Archie to get on the chart so much, then get MORE people to vote.
If I had favoritism, then Charice wouldn't have debuted at number 1. I don't like Charice, and I don't like Iyaz. I don't like Sara Bareilles either, but she's in the top spots :p If I had favoritism, then the chart would look soooo different lol.
Tell you what, gather all your Archie fans and come over to the station. I'd love to meet you guys, Thea and Joshua and JJ. When you get to the station, I'll show you how I gather my votes so you see that I'm in to way cheating :) Anyone who comes to the station and asks, actually. I've had some Cookistas over and some Glamberts, too. They were soooo many! You Archie fans come to the station and we'll talk ;)

Bad because you HAVE to listen to RT hahahaha~! And it's a good example of exactly what I'm talking about. You have to get more people to listen to RT so more people can vote for your choice song. If this person listened to RT, then that'll be one more fan to add to the people voting for Archie, see?

More Cbox Replies!
Okay, you guys are getting funnier and funnier :3
To all the artists, you guys really make me laugh :))
Jake, you don't have to convince the LP fans to "add something about love" because, like I said, this is a countdown that's all about the votes. Their vote is Linkin Park, others may vote for Eminem, others may vote for Katy Perry, while your vote is David Archuleta. :) So it doesn't matter if they "don't want to add it because it will peak at number 1", what matters is that YOU and all the other Archie fans vote for him so he can reach number one :) It's about how many votes you can garner for his song. Also, if the song enters, it DOES mean that many people love David Archuleta...that IS what a countdown is after all ^.^
Joseph, if it peaks at number one, it DOESN'T necessarily mean that it "would have been included a long time ago". Charice's Pyramid debuted on the chart as hottest new entry at number 1, but it was just super new. If it debuts at number one, then it just means that alot of people voted for it :) If it peaks at number one, then that just means that's the highest position it was able to attain :)
