Chart For 03-11-2011 and Some Cbox Replies

Hey guys! Another chart for another week!

Also, just a few replies to some Cbox statements:

To All Archies, Yes, David Archuleta is a great singer :)

Juan Tamad, Oh no! Yes, I know, I've been at fault with all the empty posts..or lack of posts..but I'm back! You won't be so tamad anymoreee :D

Mia, you spammer!

JM, yeah, Atomic Toooom! :D Hottest New Entry this week!

Hunnzy, if you search for Justin Bieber on the search bar in the upper-left hand corner of the page, then you'd see that I don't post about JB as often as you may think lol, but I can't be biased and NEVER feature him on the blog because he is a big part of music nowadays. If he isn't your cup of tea, then just skip over the Bieber posts and enjoy the rest :)

Kanye West's All Of The Lights Music Video Is Inspired By Gaspar Noe

I'm sure you all have heard of Kanye West's new song, All Of The Lights. He sings it with Rihanna, Kid Cudi, and lots of other guest vocalists.

Here's the video:
(btw, it already says in the beginning of the video, but if you're prone to epilepsy, then DO NOT WATCH IT. I'm SERIOUS. NOT KIDDING.)

It is BRILLIANT, isn't it? Kanye's really an artist, musically, visually--he's awesome.

But did you guys know that the video is not all that original? Just like everyone else, Kanye West doesn't steal, but gets inspiration from things that really strike him as awesome.

Here is the opening sequence to the movie Enter The Void:
(again, if you are epileptic, DO NOT WATCH.)

Looks familiar? hehe.

First of all, here's the complete trailer in case you guys wanna keep watchng beyond the opening credits:

Yes, that's Paz dela Huerta, the girl from Boardwalk Empire.

Not saying that Kanye West is a thief! No, no. Since it's so obviously taken from the movie, it's more like a tribute to the creativity of the visual rape that is the opening title sequence. You can tell that it's the actors because the fonts start to change. And there are Japanese symbols because it was shown in Japan BECAUSE it was shot it Japan, too.

Cheers to Gaspar Noe! Just thought I would make that little tidbit public information.

Vote for the song! It's awesome.
